awesome reflector. one of the BEST DEALS i could find online for an 8inch XXXL hood SHIPPED. stock pic almost looked like there was no hammered aluminum reflector but there is one. the hinged glass is nice to have. i previously purchased a "Puffin" brand 8 inch XXXL air cooled reflector and it does not have the hinged glass, wish i would have got 2 of these instead. the latches sealing the glass seem to do a pretty good job of creating an airtight seal but i complete the seal with hvac tape on all my reflectors for a 100% seal. seems to be very good quality all around.

i ordered 2 more of these that were "USED" in "LIKE NEW" condition. they arrived beat to crap, both ends smashed in and the clip hangers on top smashed down, just as the other reviewer stated happened to theirs in shipment. i also had visible air gaps around duct ports which i was able to silicone. additionally they were slightly different (older?) models of the hood(non-adjustable socket, the reflector inside is lower quality, etc). so, all 3 ipower hoods i have are slightly different. i must have gotten lucky on the first that arrived undamaged. amazon was awesome about the issue. i was able to repair the hoods, so i was very happy with the overall outcome for the dirt cheap price i paid. these hoods are heavy enough that just standing the box on duct ends or upside down will damage the hood. there are no markings on the box stating this. hood can be stood on either side safely, simple stickers to carrier would help i think.
