I bought a purple mosaic gazing globe with this stand for my Mom's birthday, and I was a little hesitant because I had heard that sometimes the LED lights wouldn't light up enough at night. Well, its been set up now for a couple days and it lights up well! It's not as bright as the smaller solar stake lights around it because the globe is larger, and it lights up more at the bottom where the lights are, and fades a bit near the top, but you can see it from a distance! Could be a little bit brighter, but I am not disappointed. The stand is sturdy and casual. It's not so overly ornate that it clashes with the globe. I was surprised about the price, but as far as solar stands go, this is the nicest one I've seen online, and in stores, forget about it! Only time will tell about how well it holds up to weather- I would not leave it out in the winter. Overall, I am happy with this!
