this umbrella was easy to assemble. but i blows around in circles and doesn't stay in place. the umbrella comes off of the spines also, but i was able to fix that problem with a needle and thread. after only a few months, the umbrella has faded from a rich charcoal gray to an unattractive light gray. it's an umbrella and should be able to stay outside without fading so quickly.
