I have been carefully applying Crossbow to the blackberries and poison oak on my property for about 2 years. I can now say that Crossbow has completely annihilated the blackberries. Actually, It MURDERS blackberries. They bow down and then turn into black goo in only a week or two. It's very satisfying to wipe out a non-native species so easily. Native plants and animals are now thriving where barren, thorny tangles once stood. I am careful not to broadcast it with a fine spray and I don't spray near water or near any broadleaf that I don't want to kill--even the fumes can damage non-target plants. A spreader-sticker makes Crossbow even more deadly (and less likely to wash off or end up someplace it doesn't belong). Speaking of fumes, they are quite strong, especially on hot days. Wear a respirator and long gloves. Crossbow is not for casual household weed control.
