Bought this at home depot,
Initially the device works really well. For the first 5 minutes it was cutting through some tough thornbushes, that I could not cut through with a lopper.
My lopper is limited to 2in diameter branches, so I had to find something else to do the work with.
My hedge saw was only good for the <0.5in branches, so I went and bought this one.
After 5 minutes the chain fell off.
I had to stop my work, and spend 5 minutes repairing it.
Then 2 minutes later, again, chain fell off.
Again 5 minutes to repair.
Then within a minute, the chain fell off again, so I take a 10 minute good look at my device, and concluded that the PLASTIC (yes, you hear it well, plastic) mounting point always comes loose through the vibrations of the saw!
I don't know how the heck they mounted the chain holder with a plastic piece; piece of junk!
Basically what happens is there's a plastic piece, that locks the chain glider into a specific length; The glider acts as a chain tensioner, and makes sure the chain stays in it's path.
Every time the nut comes loose, or even if the nut stays tight, the glider reduces tension on the chain, because the plastic piece is not gripping, and the chain becomes too loose, and falls off.
I returned it immediately!

This is my second device (of the 2 devices I ever had) from Ryobi, that within 30 minutes of use breaks down!
Needless to say, I will never trust Ryobi again!
