The inpool ladder is equipped with a child proof barrier that meets all ANSI/APSP codes for safety. This ladder came with our pool that we purchased in March 2010. We thought evaporation was the reason that we kept having to add water to the pool so often. Finally we saw the water around the bottom of the pool. The entrapment device on the ladder had ripped a hole in our pool liner. The cushion provided to protect the liner was peel and stick, and quickly floated off of the ladder. Also the ladder floats around and if we step on the bottom step, it comes off the ladder completely.
