This TURBOFAN CIRCULATED AIR FLOW HOVA-BATOR uses a fan to hold a more uniform set point even when the room temperature fluctuates and accommodates various size eggs at the same time. We have cut cost in the 2362N by replacing the picture window with two smaller ones. Visibility is still good for monitoring hatches and temperatures. Dimensions 18 x 18 x 9 1/2, 110 Volt AC. 25 Watt Heat Element. All Hova-Bator incubators include a sanitary plastic liner (item No. 1765). Without an automatic turner in place, the incubator will hold 50 duck or chicken eggs or 130 quail eggs.

I've borrowed an incubator in the past, same model but it didn't have the fan. Still even without the fan I had a pretty high hatch rate (about 90%). When we got ours (which has the fan kit) we put 9 guinea keet eggs in the Hovabator and on day 27 they started hatching, by day 28 all 9 eggs hatched. The directions have a chart with incubation length for different types of birds. Must admit that we weren't very strict on turning the eggs either. Easy to adjust the temperature, it comes with a thermometer (make sure the thermometer is at the same height as the top of the eggs)- and you should always make sure it maintains the correct temp for awhile BEFORE you put your eggs in. It didn't come with a hygrometer, which would be a good investment to go with the hovabator. It does make a low hum, but nothing too bad. Did what it was supposed to do, next project is D'Uccle Eggs!
