When I ordered this umbrella stand, I thought it was going to be smaller, It is a significant and a beautiful item. I also wondered why it was so costly to ship. Now, I understand why. The item is heavy .....yet it is one of the nicest talavera items I own. The photo they are using does not do it justice. In my humble opinion, it is awesome.

I am really glad I purchased it. In some ways, it is too good to be left in the foyer. I am thinking about using it in my living room as a decorative item.....near the fireplace....where everyone can see it, often!
