My Neighbor bought this model about 15 years ago. recently mine cheap spreader bit the dust and I started borrowing his Ev-n-Spred spreader... then it tore up.

So being that his lasted 15 years, I bought another from amazon. The exact same model. All i have to say is the one that just came in the mail has lots of plastic parts like the gear box, and other parts, and the metal parts are way thinner than the previous version. There is no way this thing will ever come close to lasting 15 years.

The thing was like a jigsaw puzzle to put together, and took about 40 minutes for me and im good at putting things together. The quality is about 6.5 on a scale of 1-10. I feel like it will last a few years at least. I used it today and it spread fine, the operation is smooth. My only concern is the inferior quality parts that were used to build it.
