Morningstar SL-10L-12V SunLight 10 Amp Charge Controller LVD Review

I have been using this device, purchased elsewhere for about 2 weeks. My setup is an 85w pv panel, the morningstar controller, car battery, and a total of about 40w of LED 12v landscaping lights (10 total). The charger works great, timer is very clever, device packaging is brilliant.

My only complaint about the device is the set point for low voltage cutoff. Most battery specs describe the amount of storable charge in a battery between full charge, usually 12.8 v and a point below which one should not discharge the battery, usually 10.5 volts. The Morningstar charger automatically disconnects at 11.7v...leaving "uneaten food at the table", and requiring that you oversize the battery.

I would definitely purchase this again.

I purchased this pump because I need a quick replacement, and I have always liked Amazon so I thought it would have been a good deal. I recieved the pump within 3 days, it was easy to put together however when I plugged the pump in it malfunctioned and no longer works. I reported it to Amazon and the seller got back to me within 24 hours. The seller refuses to replace the product and gives me a number to call where I am left waiting for an hour. I bought this pump for my summer escapes above ground pool last summer. Hooked it up and worked fine--But by Oct when I was reading my pool for winter-the pump would not pump. It ran but pumping no water. Seems it should have lasted more than 3 or 4 months. I went ahead and covered my pool and will deal with that defective pump soon.

Garden Winds Universal 10' x 10' Two-Tiered Replacement Gazebo Canopy Review

This product does not fit the gazebo from lowes. Let me rephrase that, it does not fit unless you cut off the ends of all 4 corners with a hack saw, and take the plastic plugs out of them and put them back into the ends you cut off. Be sure to file off the burrs afterward so it does not cut the fabric (that is the exact same fabric as the one you originaly got) it (by the feel of it) is no stonger than the first one you bought. And as far as the 2nd tier for the top, thats a joke as well. Nowhere even close to the original. The only way it looks like it should, is when the wind blows hard to make it puff up. Otherwise it sets up there all stupid looking. I'm making it work this time, but never again, as i know it will only last for a season, 2 max.

I bought this item a few months ago and have been using it on the trail with horses in Valle Vidal, Chama and Pecos Wilderness, New Mexico to set up an electrical fence for my horses every night in another place. It replaced my Zareeba which weighs heavier and is not reliable.
This charger is lightweight, easy to connect, reliable, has only two batteries which have lasted a season of camping and trail riding. One can hang it on the fence wire but mostly I now leave it on the ground and connect it with some tape wire to the fence wire. The metal ground rod does not have to be more and 15 inches which reduces weight in the packing.
Perfect for packing and temporary solutions while at the trailhead. No experience with long fences only 60-160 yards.
