Had a Parmak that lasted for years. Then for cost savings, bought another brand which did not have a replaceable fuse. That lasted maybe 5 years. When that unit blew, we bought another which lasted 16 months. Decided to spend the extra bucks and get another Parmak. It works extremely well, does shock though weeds. Like that it has an operational light and strong click when unit is on; you know when this unit is on. This unit has a replaceable fuse which for us was a big selling point, along with our previous experience with a Parmak unit. Highly recommend unit.
