I did not purchase this from Amazon but rather through my local Pool City Store for $99. Please note the reviewer insisting that the ladder floated did not install it correctly. There are 3 slots on teh bottom step to insert pavers for extra weight to hold down the ladder. However I have not had to use those as I installed it on a pad, resting on the bottom of the pool. It has been there for 2 months and has not moved.

Installation tip... arrange the ladder where you want it and have someone stand on the ladder while you tighten the set screws. Also I upgraded the Mounts that they give you which are ABS to Aluminum ones for an extra $5 each.
