This is a very nice set for the price, and perfect for family picnics in the park.

As other reviews note, the plates and silverware here are nicer than in many such kits. We've dishwashed them several times and they have come out just fine, with the plates on the lower rack in the dishwasher (although if your washer has a tendency to melt plates, then I wouldn't try that). It's nice also to have a complete set of silver and the small cutting board.

There are some minor limitations: the napkins are thin and flimsy, and the silverware orients such that it's easy to poke yourself when reaching into the bag -- just remember to open the bag all the way. The straps are not terribly comfortable but perfectly adequate for a modest stroll of a mile or two.

Overall it's a great value and I would purchase it again.
