Kitras Large Square Vase, Multi/Blue Review

It's a beautiful vase, but I don't get a lot of sunlight in my apartment and I didn't realize how little the colors would show up without light shining from behind the vase.

Thorvin Organic Kelp For Animals, 50 Lbs Review

ONLY the FILTER GRADE DE is DANGEROUS to BREATH.
The "dangerous" part of DE is the amount of CRYSTALLINE silica that is in it. Filter grade (used in pools filters, etc) is 65% crystalline silica while food grade is less than 1/10 of 1%! DE is safe to breathe as long as the crystalline content is under 2%. Food grade is 20X lower than even that level.
It can be used for odor control for your refrigerator/freezer & garbage cans. Used in face mask or cleanser to exfoliate your skin. Make a paste w/ water as a "soft scrub" cleaner around your kitchen & bath.

BENEFITS OF DE:
Diatomaceous Earth has a negative charge and bacteria has a positive charge. It is believed that Diatomaceous Earth sweeps bacteria out of the body by trapping it in its honeycomb shaped skeletal form.
lowers bad cholesterol and raises good
fades age spots
stimulates metabolism for higher energy levels
helps repair and maintain vital lung tissue and protects them from pollution. By maintaining or restoring the elasticity of lung tissue, reduces inflammation in bronchitis.
cough decreasing agent. Tones the upper respiratory tract (nose, pharynx, larynx) and reduces swelling because of its positive action on the lymphatic system.
keeps menopause free of stress and helps to prevent many unwanted side effects of menopause
works with other antioxidants to prevent premature aging and to preserve youthfulness.
can help prevent kidney stones and heal infections of the urinary tract. It is a natural diuretic which can increase excretion of urine by 30 percent, thus flushing the water-excreting system and restoring normal function to these vital organs.
reduce inflammation of the intestinal tract. It can cause disinfection in the case of stomach and intestinal mucus and ulcers. Silica can prevent or clear up diarrhea and its opposite, constipation.
help normalize hemorrhoidal tissues.
In regulating and normalizing the bowels, silica has a pleasant side effect; it can alleviate lower back pain, which often troubles the elderly.
proves effective with female discharge, abscesses and ulcers in the genital area and cervix, as well as mastitis (especially for breast feeding mothers).
supportive treatment for inflammation of the middle ear. Because of the beneficial effectiveness on the lymphatic system, DE can be used for swelling of the lymph nodes in the throat.
anti-inflammatory disinfecting, absorbing and odor binding effects.
normalize circulation and regulate high blood pressure (hypertension).
decrease vertigo, headache, tinnitus (buzzing of the ears) and insomnia.
help diabetes by promoting synthesis of elastase inhibitor by the pancreas.
help arterial disease by strengthening the blood vessels.
Studies confirm that with age, silica disappears from the aorta, the heart's key blood vessel, thus weakening its critical connective tissue and resulting in a greater cardiac risk.
help prevent Tuberculosis.
By improving the elasticity of the joints, helps rheumatism.
has inhibitory effects on coronary diseases.
stimulate the immune system.
can help avoiding or alleviating Alzheimer's disease by preventing the body from absorbing aluminum and may flush out aluminum from the tissues.

Frame-It-All Greenhouse Review

Seller shipped item quickly, and it set up fairly easily with the illustrations provided. There were no written instructions. The fairly thin plastic covering is not much thicker than the plastic on the mini 3 or 4 shelves greenhouses so take care not to pull too hard and tear it. It has not had to endure any rain so I cannot comment on how it will withstand the rain. There are ample zippers to open the house as needed, and of course, a zippered plastic covering over the netting once closed.

The netting is held by velcro, and the openings in the netting are fairly large and will only keep out the larger insects, but still is a nice addition to permit air flow into the house. The greenhouse is held in place by 4 inground plastic stakes. Not sure how it will hold if there is gusty wind, but expect it to be secure. I like that it fits over all sides of my 4x4 Lifetime raised garden boxes, but critters can crawl under it and get into the box. It will definitely keep the dogs out, though.

Overall a good buy, and I intended to order more until the price and shipping increased after just 3 days! It will give me time to think about it more and watch how it holds up under the coming rain in a couple of days. If it collapses I'll be sure to get back and do an update. In the meantime I will check my local Menards.

Karcher 4.764-192.0 DirtBlaster Rotary Nozzle Review

Half of the time the nozzle doesn't rotate and all you have is a stationary pencil line. Play around with the wand trigger turning the water on and off will activate the nozzle rotation most of the time so when it spins, it works really well. This is compounded by the problem that Karcher gas powered washers have a known sticking valve problem reducing the pressure with zero boost pressure at the nozzle end.

Parmak Fieldmaster 2 Low Impedance 110/120 Volt 15 Mile Range Electric Fence Charger FM2 Review

Had a Parmak that lasted for years. Then for cost savings, bought another brand which did not have a replaceable fuse. That lasted maybe 5 years. When that unit blew, we bought another which lasted 16 months. Decided to spend the extra bucks and get another Parmak. It works extremely well, does shock though weeds. Like that it has an operational light and strong click when unit is on; you know when this unit is on. This unit has a replaceable fuse which for us was a big selling point, along with our previous experience with a Parmak unit. Highly recommend unit.
