Bought this over a year ago, used it on a few logs. It worked great, while it worked. Each handle has a different power/speed ratio: on mine the right handle is easier to use (more power) and the left more speed to the piston. Using the machine requires using the right one when the "going gets tough."

Finally got it out to use this past weekend. On the second wheel barrow load of maple (no log over 8" in circ, most smaller) the left handle totally seized up. Couldn't repair it, despite being fairly handy. The unit was kept indoors at all times, too... so this isn't a case of left outside to rust up and ruin.

Too bad, this unit has lots of promise... it's "green" because it uses muscle power, is beefy and heavy, but the engineering is somehow not up to par. Unless this has been upgraded or redesigned in the last 12 months, it isn't worth it.
