I bought this brand because Tekonsha was so highly recommended. I settled on this model because I always like to buy slightly more than I need, but within a reasonable price frame. I have a 3/4 ton 4x4 diesel that I bought under the same philosophy and I haven't been disappointed yet.

I bought this with a plug-and-play harness which was fantastic, but I did have a little trouble locating the factory wiring in my truck. (For Dodge, it was located on the e-brake side of the power distribution box on the firewall under the dash- invisible until I actually pulled the box off the firewall.) The seller was great, verifying that I had the correct parts and giving me an idea of where to look for the plug.

The hardest and most time-consuming part of installation was deciding where to put this sucker. I wanted it to look factory, and there just wasn't any good way to do that. Once it's installed, there's very little else to do. Hook up the trailer, adjust the sensitivity dial, test the brakes. Readjust as necessary. So far it's great. I'll update later if I have any problems but for the moment I'm quite pleased.
