These bricks expand A LOT. I put four of them in a five gallon bucket and filled it with water. The bricks expanded so much after just a day that the bucket was square instead of round. Then I had to really pry them out. Note to others--don't do what I did. Just put two bricks upright in the bucket, then fill with water. I've used this as mulch to mix in with my vermicomposting. I've also used this to repot certain orchids.

As a pond owner for several years, I recently enlarged my pond from a 50 gal preformed model to about 350 gal, using pond liner, adding waterfalls, biofiltration, and landscaping.The pads that come with the bio filters, (whether it is only a filter, or even if it is a waterfall with a filtration system incorporated) are weak, flimsy, not durable, and require almost daily cleanings if you have a lot of fish. The MATALA filters, though, are just what the pond doctor ordered. A full 1&1/2 thick, they are rigid plastic of various densities covering everything from wide open black to dense gray. I bought the green and the blue. I easily cut the large panels to size to fit my two filters. Each filter, along with the small filters that come as part of the pumps, now uses this material. It cleans with a shake and will last forever. With the two pieces I bought from the seller, I have enough to completely redo my two pond bio filters, with enough left over to provide smaller filtration around the three or four other pumps I now have working in the pond. Highly recommend. Seller quick and professional. One of the best purchases in over twenty years of buying on Amazon.

Nautica RED Nautica Light Weight 5 Position Aluminum Beach Chair with Neck Pillow Review

This is a typical beach chair. It is pretty roomy and comfortable to sit in but it is low to the ground. I didn't feel like it was going to tip or break with me in it. I just got 2 of these last week and have not been to a beach yet but I have tried out the chairs indoors so I cannot say what will happen on sand. They are easy to put up and take down and easy to carry. The magazine holder was a bit small but I guess it is okay if you roll the magazine up and it will fit a book. The biggest thing I have to say about these is that they are way overpriced on Amazon. I got mine from Sam's for $29.95 each. Do not overpay for these. Find someone with a membership and go to Sam's if you can.

Follow up on 11-11-11: Used this chair many times this summer at the beach. Super comfy. It has several back positions for a comfortable rest. Love the drink holder and although I still maintain it is a little undersized, I used the magazine holder to hold my snacks. It was very sturdy. It is also very light. Several times I had to lug 2 of these chairs and the umbrella and more along the beach and this did not add to the burden. The color did not fade from chlorine or the sun and the white did not flake off. Still say it is a great chair but overpriced. I saw a few of these left in Sams a few weeks ago still for $29.95
