This cane is actually an awesome well built cane. However, the company design toscano is very unreliable. I had this cane once before ( it was stolen) So i ordered it from Design Toscano. That was five months ago. It has been on backorder ever since. Every time the ship date comes up they change it and put it off again. They never notify you there is a problem so they just leave you hanging. When you call them all they will tell you is the new ship date is what the manufacture gives them. In other words they want you to believe they have no contact with their supplier whatsoever and that they must have just given them tons of money for product and hope it arrives one day. I find it hard to believe they cannot contact the manufacturer and ask why there has been a six month delay. And the wait continues. In fact most of their canes have been on back order for six months. What a shame. If they had just made an attempt to let their customers know who ordered these canes that there was a problem I wouldn't be so harsh with them. As it stands, I lost any respect for that company completely. They have been around for a long time and they never had these issues of poor customer service before. I don't know if they have new owners or what. but they definitely fall short of giving a crap about customer service.
