Sea Gull Lighting 8510-02 Outdoor Sconce with Clear Beveled Glass Shades, Polished Brass Finish Review

We searched all over for some good sized solid brass coach lights to replace the aging ones we have had on the front of the house for 30 years or more. I actually returned a set of different ones because they were not as tall as advertised. These also have a durable clear coating so they won't tarnish or corode. I mounted these with new 5 watt CFL Candelabra bulbs and they look just great. These things alone make our home look nearly new.

Talstar EZ Granular Insecticide 50 lb Review

I have been using this product for over 6 years. It beats any watered down chemicals sold at the Orange or the Blue hardware stores. It is also better than the stuff the so called "lawn professionals" used on my lawn prior to me deciding to take control of the situation. First, I applied every 6 months, once the ants were under control I only had to use it once a year. I apply it heavily on the perimeter of the house to keep bugs for coming also. So this is not just for lawn treatment. This product is great also against Chinch bugs. One bag, one product, all the pesticide I need for the lawn. It is really good.

Hammaka 2032-HMKA Pillow Hammock Review

We tried out 6 (yes 6) hammocks this summer in our search for a 2 person hammock that would fit on a space saving (9 foot) stand. This was far and away the WINNER. Not only is the quality fantastic, its beautiful, water-resistant and very, very COMFORTABLE.

I grew up with classic rope hammocks, so those were the first that we tried out. Unfortunately none of the 2 person rope hammocks worked with our space saving stand Vivere UHSDO9 Double Hammock with Space-Saving Steel Stand - Tropical, we had to string the hammocks so tight that it was challenging to get on and less than relaxing trying to lay on it. We also tried out the "Brazilian" and "Costa Rican" style fabric hammocks, but ended up feeling as if we were wrapped in a cocoon. (I've heard these are great for traveling, etc, but we really wanted a hammock with the spreader-bar so that we could lay on it together, side by side.

We had almost given up when I stumbled upon the Hammaka Pillow Hammock and thought we'd make it our last try... We are SO HAPPY that we did. My boyfriend is 6'1" and I'm 5'4" yet his feet don't hang over the edge and I don't feel as if I'm being swallowed up in it (and our 13 lb dog fits on together with us and still leaves a LOT of room to spare). The fabric is lovely and is holding up really well in this very rainy NY summer, it dries quickly and hasn't stained or mildewed. What else...? The built-in pillow is awesome!

Bottom line is that I would recommend this hammock to ANYONE looking for a 2 person fabric hammock. From our experience trying out so many this is the ONLY one that will fit on a space saving stand without sacrificing the size or quality of the hammock itself.

Feel free to ask me any questions, I'm happy to help.

Yakima High Lift Jack Bracket

Yakima Hi-Lift Jack Carrier for MegaWarrior or LoadWarrior Cargo Baskets Review

It would have been better w/ some kind of attachment for the lower portion.
I have the 5 foot Hi lift and the weight is too much for this rack.
What I mean is, the jack sits sideways because the two top attachment points need some help from bottom attachment points to keep it level.
So, I just ride with it sideways, at least its out of my truck.

Also, this is my second rack. I used to have a 5' x 4' Surco Safari rack that weighed a ton, but the Hi Lift, Shovel, and Axe attachments were of better quality.

Giant 50' Solar Bag Review

I actually used this with my students today and it was SO much fun. My highschoolers, although they laughed as I ran around trying to get it to fill up, were mesmerized as it began to float! It was great to talk about the density of different air masses based on temperature in my Earth Science class, and I will likely pull it out in Chemistry too... in order to be light enough to float they had to make it out of REALLY REALLY thin plastic sheeting, so beware that it can get a tear REALLY easily, but we only had one tear and I just tied the spot where it happened and it looks pretty decent now.
